Institute for Plasma Research ( IPR ) – a premier research organization in India, involved in research in various aspects of plasma science including basic plasma physics, magnetically confined hot plasmas and plasma technologies for industrial application.IPR is currently in the process of building a Steady State Superconducting Tokamak (SST-1) and is one of the partners in the international ITER project.
