Periyar University Project fellow Recruitment June 2013 :- Application s are invited for a position of Project fellow – UGC sponsored Major Research Project entitled “Gene Expression studies on mechanisms underlying the role of melatonin as free radical scavenger and developmental enhancer in insects”

Duration: 3 years

Fellowship: Rs 14,000 p.m. for initial 2 years and Rs 16,000 p.m. for third year.

Qualification: M.Sc. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Entomology or any other branch of Life Science (with first class) having proven ability to work in a demanding environment. Research experience in gene expression studies in eukaryotic systems (insect), genomics work are highly encouraged to apply.
