Applications are invited for admission to M.Sc Textiles and Fashion programme for the academic year 2013-2014.
Eligibility:
Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in any Fashion or Textile related subject/a Bachelor degree in any subject having textiles or Fashion as a core course or open course/ a Bachelor Degree plus a Diploma in Fashion or Textile related topic recognized by the University, are eligible for admission to the course. (Since the programme is offered in a women’s College only female candidates should apply for the programme).
How and when to apply:
Application forms can be downloaded from the website of the Mahatma Gandhi University www.mgu.ac.in from 05.07.2013 onwards. Registration fee of Rs. 400/-(Rs.200/-for SC/ST candidates) shall be remitted at the cash counter of the University or at FRIENDS JANASEVANAKENDRAM or by way of M.G.University Chalan from State Bank of Travancore. Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances. Since the admission to the above course under merit and management categories is based on a common rank list prepared by the University, the candidates are required to submit applications in the
office of the Deputy Registrar (Acad I), CAP CELL, Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarsini Hills PO, Kottayam PIN 686 560. Admission to management seats shall be made by the management concerned from the rank list prepared by the university. A self- addressed stamped envelope (Rs 5/-) shall be enclosed along with the application. The last date for receipt of filled in application is 20.07.2013.
