Kannur University MBA admission for academic session  2013- 2014 :- Kannur University issued notification for admission to various MBA courses at its various colleges/for the academic session 2013- 2014. Interested candidates can apply till 19 June 2013.
MBA Program Details
The MBA programme (full time credit semester) of the department is for the duration of two years spread over four semesters. The department offers specialization in six streams: Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Productions & Operations Management, Small Business Management and Information technology. The programme is conducted under the dual specialization scheme whereby a student can opt for any two specialization areas of his / her choice. Students are required to undertake summer project for a period of four weeks after the completion of the second semester examinations. The final project study for a period of eight weeks falls in the beginning of the fourth semester.
A pass in any bachelor’s degree examination (under 10+2+3 pattern) in Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Law, Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture etc. of this University or any other Indian or Foreign University duly recognized by the Kannur University as equivalent thereto. Candidates to be eligible to apply for admission to the programme are required to have scored not less than 50 % marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. However, candidates belonging to the other backward communities are eligible for a concession of 5 percent marks in the qualifying examination. Those belonging to scheduled caste/ scheduled tribes having secured a pass in the degree examination are eligible to apply for admission to the programme.
Admission is on the basis of merit as determined by the weighted scores obtained by the candidate in the C-MAT entrance test conducted by AICTE , group discussion and interview.
The Department offers Dual Specialisation. The Student can choose any two streams from the following:
1. Financial Mangement
2. Marketing Management
3. Human Resources Management
4. International Business
Duration:- 2 years (4 Sem.)
No of Seats:-Â 40 seats + 10 NRI / payment seats
Admission Procedure
 Admission is offered to the candidates on the basis of merit determined by the weighted scores obtained by the candidate in the C-MAT entrance test conducted by AICTE , Group Discussion and Interview conducted by the University.
Application Fees
Candidates are required to pay Rs 500 (Rs 100 for SC / ST candidates) as application fees by way of crossed Demand Draft  drawn in favour of  “The Finance Officer,  Kannur University†and payable at SBT, Kannur University Campus Branch, Mangattuparamba OR by directly remitting the amount through a Chalan at the SBT Kannur University Campus in the name of the Finance Officer.
