Walk-in-in Interview is to be conducted on 25 July 2013 (Thu rsday) at 11:30 am in the second floor of the Platinum Jubilee Building for the recruitment of one (01) Project linked person purely temporary basis in the Geological Studies Unit of the Institute ,  Kolkata to work in a project titled “A study of the Neogene and Quaternary successions of eastern Himalayan fore land basin” in the Geological Studies Unit of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.
Qualifications:Â
- Essential: M.Sc. in Botany or Geology with experience in working in mega-and miofloral content of sedimentary rocks.
- Desirable: Experience of geological fieldwork in Quaternary or Neogene sediments.
Pay:RSÂ 20000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) per month (consolidated).
Age:Â 35 years as on 01 June 2013 with usual relaxation of age for SC/ST/ OBC/ Women! differently abled candidates.
Candidates appearing for walk-in-interview will be required to bring their current curriculum vitae in English addressed to the Director, Indian Statistical Institute, 203 B. T.
