Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur invites applications from Indian Nationals for filling up of the following posts on contract basis:
1. Junior Technician: 15 (Fifteen) posts
Pay Band: ` 5200-20200/- (PB-1) with Grade Pay ` 2000/- and other allowances as admissible.
Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 pattern) in Science or equivalent in appropriate field OR Diploma in Engineering of three years duration in appropriate field.
Wiremen License / Permit issued by Chief Electrical Inspector / Competent Authority of respective State is essential for candidates with electrical specialization.
Desirable: Experience and knowledge in computer application, electronic instruments, repairing & maintenance and handling of sophisticated instruments.
2. Junior Laboratory Assistant: 8 (Eight) posts
Pay Band: ` 5200-20200/- (PB-1) with Grade Pay ` 2000/- and other allowances as admissible.
Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 pattern) in Science or equivalent in appropriate field OR Diploma in Engineering of three years duration in appropriate field.
Desirable: Experience and knowledge in computer application, electronic instruments, repairing & maintenance and handling of sophisticated instruments.
3. Junior Laboratory Assistant (Legal / Accounts): 2 (Two) posts
Pay Band: ` 5200-20200/- (PB-1) with Grade Pay ` 2000/- and other allowances as admissible.
Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in commerce (10+2+3 pattern) or Bachelor’s degree in Law. Experience and knowledge in computer applications, accounting, exposure to Office procedure like maintenance of Files, Noting, Drafting etc. are essential.
Desirable: Experience in start-ups and incubation management like IPR and legal compliance. Financial and corporate governance, financial structuring, milestone based venture financing, specially in venture loans/venture capital.
4. Junior Assistant: 10 (Ten) posts
Pay Band: ` 5200-20200/- (PB-1) with Grade Pay ` 2000/- and other allowances as admissible.
Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (10+2+3 pattern), Computer key depression speed equivalent to 40 WPM, knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel etc., exposure to Office procedure like maintenance of Files, Noting, Drafting etc. are essential.
Age Limit:
Upper age limit is 30 years for unreserved, 35 years for SC/ST and 33 years for OBCs candidates.
