Cochin Shipyard Limited was established in the year 1972. This yard can build and repair the largest vessels in India. Cochin Shipyard Limited has secured shipbuilding orders from internationally renowned companies from Europe & Middle East and is nominated to build the country’s first indigenous Air Defense Ship. The Shipyard also trains graduate engineers to marine engineers who later join ships both Indian and foreign as 5th Engineers. 100 are trained every year.

Total Number Of Seats: there are total 32 seats available.
Educational Qualification: Aspirants should be unmarried Graduate in Mechanical or Mechanical Automation or Naval Architecture Engineers with at least 50% marks obtained in Engineering and 50% marks secured in English for Matriculation and Intermediate level. Applicants must also have Medical fitness certificate from Medical Officer approved by Directorate General of Shipping.
Age Limit: Candidates willing to apply their age limit must not be more than 28 years
