1. General Manager / Chief Engineer (Planning&Designs)
Name Of post : General Manager / Chief Engineer (Planning & Designs)
JOB DESCRIPTION: Will head the team that designs the Metro rail project. The General Manager will be responsible for planning, checking / reviewing the designs of piles, piers, segmental viaducts, tunnels, PEB Structures, ROBs, interchanges and any other structure to be constructed in the Metro Rail Project. The General Manager shall also be responsible for checking Track Layout on main line and Depots. GM will also ensure that the project is completed in line with all the relevant safety standards and regulations. The GM will be required to interact with Systems Division dealing with AFC, S&T, OCC, Electrical Systems, Rolling Stock etc. to take care of integration of Civil Structures with the Systems. He will consider the costs & possibilities of reducing them without compromising quality or safety.
Minimum Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech. Graduate (Civil Engineering) or Equivalent OR ME/M.Tech Graduate. (Civil / Structural Engineering) or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with post graduate qualification. Required Software Skills:
Essential : Computer Aided Design Software like Stadd Pro, Strap,Rm Software, ETab,
Desirable: Finite element , Analysis Packages.
Age Limit: : The maximum age limit for the post of Chief Engineer is 58 years as on 1.9.2014
Scale of pay: Rs.1.25 lac to Rs.1.60 lac per month
Selection Procedure:

2. Deputy General Manager / Deputy. Chief Engineer (Construction)
MEGA invites applications from qualified and experienced Engineers for appointment to key senior, middle / junior level management positions in the Project Wing. All appointments proposed will be on “contract basis” only.
In case of non-availability of experienced and suitable candidates for appointment, employees working in Metro Railways / Railways / Government / PSUs will be considered for appointment on deputation.
Retired Officers from Metro Railway / Railways / Government Departments/ PSUs, not more than 61 years of age, may also apply for contract appointment.
NAME OF POST: Deputy General Manager / Deputy. Chief Engineer (Construction)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Will be required to handle all matters relating to supervision of construction of piles, piers, segmental viaducts, PEB structure, ROBs and any other structure including safety during construction and qualify. DGM will be required to interface with all agencies at site viz. detailed design consultant, general engineering consultant, agencies involved in utility diversions and civil contractors. He will also coordinate integration of civil structure to be constructed with the system works.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: B.E. / B. Tech. /Equivalent (Civil)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum 15 years post qualification experience out of which atleast 5 years hands on experience in construction of viaduct, bridges, multi storied building, work shop shades etc. Candidates having previous experience in Metro Rail viaduct construction would be preferred.
AGE: The maximum age limit for the post of DGM /Deputy Chief Engineer 50 years as on 01.09.2014
VI. NO. OF POST: 2 (Two) One each for E-W (Elevated) and N-S (Elevated)
PAY: Rs Rs.90,000/- to Rs.1.20 lac per month

NAME OF POST: Asstt. General Manager / Executive Engineer (Track)
JOB DESCRIPTION: Will be in charge of all track related works and assist the GM / Chief Engineers and / Or DGM / Dy. Chief Engineers in track procurement & planning and also track maintenance.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: B.E. / B. Tech. / Equivalent (Civil)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Should have minimum 10 years post qualification experience of which at least 3 years experience should be in maintenance of metro / railway track / track procurement / planning.
AGE: The maximum age limit for the post of Executive Engineer is 45 years as on 01.09.2014
NO. OF POST: 1 (One)
PAY: Rs.75,000/- to Rs.1.00 lac per month
SELECTION:

JOB DESCRIPTION: Will be required to assist the DGM / Dy. Chief Engineer and GM or CE (Planning& Designs) in all matters relating to planning, checking/reviewing designs of piles, piers, segmental viaducts, tunnels, PEB Structures, ROBs, interchanges and any other structures. Will be required to interact with Systems Division dealing with AFC, S&T, OCC, Electrical Systems etc. to coordinate integration of Civil Structures with the Systems. Assist in making decisions related to logistics and resources.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: B.E. / B. Tech. /Equivalent (Civil)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years post qualification experience of which at least 3 years should be in planning / design of Viaducts, Bridges and Multistoried Buildings with hands on experience in “Design” in Govt. Department / PSU / large construction Company
Candidate with having worked on Metro Rail construction will be preferred.
